Java Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated team player to be a part of our Tech team at Ad.net. You will be responsible for driving our tech team to deliver solutions that meet the business needs. The ideal candidate should be able to cite a good example in writing a high quality code and on-time delivery. Passionate in both online marketing and new technologies is a big plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and continuous improvements on our Reporting Framework that interfaces with our data warehouse and Big Data backend (at the TB level).
  • Lead our India to develop and support our publisher and advertisement management portal. A successful candidate should be able to provide performance tuning guidelines for the team and work closely with our product manager to deliver solutions for business.
  • Keep the team in high standard of coding practice, QA and launch process.
    • Desired Skills & Experience:
      Skills:

      • Demonstrate expert knowledge is Java including multi-threading, NIO, Generic and memory management.
      • Experience in Spring, Hibernate, MySQL
      • Strong in performance tuning from front to back.
      • 100% hand-on. It is not the people manager role. You need to lead by example.
      • Passionate with good understanding of some of new technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Redis, Riak, MongoDB and etc.
      • Experience in agile and scrum.
      • Excellent verbal and written skills; detail oriented.

      Bonus:

      • Experience in Internet Marketing domain.

The ideal candidate will have at least one to three years Account Management or Sales experience in internet advertising.

      Account Manager

      We are seeking a highly motivated team player to be a part of our Account Management team at Ad.net. You will be responsible for managing clients after sign off from Sales from set up to implementation to upsell of our suite of products including Email, Websites, Mobile, Search and Pops. The ideal candidate will have at least one to three years Account Management experience in internet advertising.

      Key Tasks & Responsibilities

      • Manage multiple advertiser and agency accounts, developing positive working relationships with the media buyers, planners and operations teams at these companies.
      • Leverage technical tools and quantitative data to research client programs as they run to ensure success, uncover problems, and measure results.
      • Prepare campaign progress reports, analysis and research leveraging Ad.nets advertising channels for presentation to clients both during and after campaigns.
      • Work closely with sales, marketing and product teams to support client proposal development.
      • Manage customer activity with CRM tools for maximum efficiency and visibility, with carefully executed follow-up to closure on open client issues.
      • Maintain client status documentation for use by Ad.net sales/executive management.
      • Work with operations to assist with day-to-day operational processes including campaign set-up, receipt of creative or tags, trafficking, optimization and trouble-shooting.
      • Manage successful client deployments and ensure ongoing high client satisfaction and renewal.
      • Follow (and provide input on) consistent processes for managing client success from signature of IO to billing.
        • Skills & Attributes

          • Proven experience in interactive ad sales or account management.
          • High degree of organization, self-motivation, and drive.
          • Familiarity with commercial ad serving platforms such as DoubleClick DART, Atlas, etc.
          • Eagerness to work in a start-up team environment that will be rapidly changing.
          • Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
          • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
          • Passionate about online media

          Experience Requirements

          • 2+ years experience in advertising sales or account management.
          • 3+ years online business experience in sales & marketing, preferably in online businesses.
          • Direct network experience, either as customer, partner or employee.
          • BS or BA required & advanced degree desirable.
