Findology Changes Name to Ad.net.
-- Also Debuts New Enhanced Website and Email Channel--
Los Angeles, CA - June 27, 2012 - It was announced today that Findology is changing its name to Ad.net. The name change reflects the new focus of the company. For many years, Findology has been a leader in the search space. As the company has evolved, the name no longer represented the business focus. The company acquired Ad.net and decided to re-brand as the name is more representative of the business model.
Ad.net is one of the leading online advertising networks and is committed to providing advertisers highly targeted traffic at affordable prices. Along with the name change the company has just launched a new website. The new site provides an overview of the different channels available to advertisers. Currently, there are Domain, Email, Pop-up and Search Channels. The newest channel is Ad.net’s Email Channel and it has quickly become a popular and cost efficient channel for Ad.net advertisers. The channel presents advertisers’ messages to an audience that has been opted-in to receive relevant offers.
"The name change reflects our total commitment to focus our business into expanding into other products or channels", said CEO Jon Waterman. "The new brand comes at a very exciting time for us. With our new brand we will be able to better communicate the full spectrum of what we offer to our customers. Our new brand position tells our existing customers, and future customers that we offer valuable marketing solutions for our advertisers along with individualized customer ser-vice to help them reach their campaign goals."
The new site also includes an update to its campaign management tools. This part of the site is password protected and allows an advertiser to select which channel they want to participate in and how they want to target their advertising. Other tools include bidding tools, where the advertiser specifies how much they want to spend on clicks or views, and budgeting tools, where an advertiser can set a monthly or daily cap. There are also reporting tools that track the performance of ads including monitoring campaign ROI.
According to Waterman, "Our advertisers currently partner with us because we are a low price alternative to Google and Bing and they have been looking for other marketing solutions to promote their brands. With our new website, advertisers are able to see all of the channels and services we offer them and get an overview of each channel. With the addition of our Email Channel, they now have a new opportunity to reach desirable customers in a highly targeted environment. Advertisers can continue to buy highly targeted, quality traffic at a low cost."
