Management Team
Jon Waterman
Founder and CEO
Mr. Waterman is responsible for developing and maintaining Ad.net’s corporate
and strategic development and overseeing its product development pipeline. Under his direction, Ad.net develops products and services
that position the company as an innovative and integral part of the online community. Jon began investing and working in the Internet
space in 1998 when he created Way Internet, Inc, a domain name and traffic brokering business. In 2002, he founded Findology
Interactive Media, an Internet advertising company, focused on the cost-per-click search space.
In 2007, Jon sold Findology Interactive Media to the Photon Group Inc, (PGA.AX), and a little over three years later in 2011
he re-purchased the business. After the purchase, he restructured and recapitalized the company and re-branded it Ad.net.
Jon has presented at industry trade shows and his insight has been featured in online marketing publications.
Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University California, Santa Barbara.
Tony Nguyen
Chief Technology Officer
Tony is the Chief Technology Officer for Ad.net, and is responsible for ensuring all technical operations
support the needs of the business to maximize revenues.
At Ad.net, he has played a role in developing and refining meta-search ad-serving technology to help web publishers
better monetize their traffic. Tony has more than 10 years of technology experience and has previously held senior
level positions at Internet companies including Scour.net, which was sold to Centerspan Communications, an Intel Company
and Redswoosh, which was acquired by Akamai Technologies. Tony has been an original team member of two technology startups
and has developed innovative ways to deliver content to consumers via peer-to-peer data sharing technology.
Tony enjoys fine dining and tries to emulate these wonderful meals in his own kitchen. Tony attended UCLA.
Trevor Lakier
SVP of Business Development
Trevor is the SVP of Business Development for Ad.net, and is responsible for the management and growth of strategic
relationships and leads the Business Development team. Trevor has more than 10 years of online advertising and business
development experience. He led the team to seven straight years of growth contributing to the company’s acquisition
by Photon Group Inc. Before working in the Internet industry, Trevor was in Production Accounting for HBO.
Trevor has a Bachelors degree in Business and Economics from Arizona State University.
Caryn Wernecke
Sr. Vice President of Finance
Caryn is the Sr. Vice President of Finance for Ad.net, and is responsible for managing all of the financial affairs
of the company, including accounting and financial reporting, internal audit and financial planning.
Caryn has more than 10 years of financial experience and for the last 7 years has held positions in the Internet
advertising space. She has a wide range of experience in the financial aspects of the online industry,
ranging from key involvement in a major acquisition by a public company to handling day-to-day accounting
and financial tasks. Caryn graduated from UCLA in 2000 with a BA degree. She and her husband Jeff are
the proud parents of their son, Matthew.
Ray Hon
Sr. Vice President of Engineering
Ray leads platform development efforts both onshore and offshore for Ad.net and is responsible for the architecture
and implementation of all of Ad.net’s Advertising Channels. He has over 13 years experience in online advertising and
has worked at Datapop, Adconion Media Group, and Yahoo!. At Datapop, he was a founding engineer and key architect for their
advertising platform that uses taxonomy and semantic rules to create custom ads. Ray’s work at Adconion, as Director of Engineering,
was focused on development of real-time analytic systems and their advertising management platform. He has also been the
founding member of a wedding start-up. Ray earned a BS in Computer Science from California State Polytechnic University,
Pomona and a BS in Biochemistry from UCLA.
